Introducing Ian Ford   Artist/Sculptor

This is my second symposium in Oamaru. I enjoy being surrounded by awe inspiring artists and talking with local artists. This allows me to "learn and grow", creating a heart-felt connection to both the art I'm making and the person I am making it for.
 
I prefer hand tools and work with the mediums of stone, wood, pottery and paint. Oamaru stone is my passion and in my work I incorporate themes of love and appreciation of the beauty of 'mother 'earth.
 
I am based in Christchurch. If you wish to commission work please allow 1-2 months for small works (as I work fulltime) and provide  good-faith deposit to cover materials. Larger works can be negotiated.
